One day, there is a knock on Jens' door in Copenhagen. Outside stands Renata with a large suitcase. She moves in, and the two begin a relationship. However, Renata quickly discovers that Jens does not do much other than fish, drink beer, and dream of his breakthrough—a safe and quiet life paid for by the state. But Renata has other plans.
