Poets, a painter, a tractor driver, a fortune teller, and a handful of free spirits long for places which lead elsewhere. Some are waiting for Godot; others for a hot meal or a measure of dignity. Blending raw poetry, humour, and melancholy, Welcome to Sinagovci is a documentary portrait of a community where reality and fantasy intertwine, and where meaning is found in the simple, dreamlike act of being.
